Our Program Is Inspired
By Rudolph Steiner
According to Rudolf Steiner in the first seven years, the early childhood educative focus is on
Physical development including the final differentiation of individual organs, the coordination of the limb system and development of the senses and nervous system.
Learning through imitation
of what is heard, felt and experienced, as the major impetus for development.
Developing will
or the ability to follow a decision or action to completion, which enables children to solve problems, use imagination and develop creative play and is required to later achieve literacy, numeracy, creative thinking and
self-actualisation in adulthood.
Our program aligns with Steiner Approach, which includes mud/digging play, sandpit, cooking, cleaning, caring for chickens, gardening, water painting, drawing with wee wax blocks, singing natural songs, storytelling, mealtime blessing, family community gathering, seasonal celebrations, and birthday celebrations.
Each day children explore their environment and engage in
self-directed play.
“The need for imagination, a sense of truth and a feeling of responsibility.
These three forces are the very nerve of education.”
– Rudolf Steiner
