3 and 4 Year Old Kindergarten Program In long day care setting
We provide a Victorian Government-funded kindergarten program. Our kindergarten program is inspired by Rudolf Steiner.
The three main goals in Steiner Education are thinking, feeling, and willing. Our goal is to create empathetic, lifelong learners who have a genuine love for learning and exploring the world.
Our program uses Australian Early Year Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning (EYLF) to guide our practices and support children achieve 5 Learning Outcomes in early years. The five learning outcomes are: Children have a strong sense of identity, children are involved and contribute to their world, children have a strong sense of wellbeing, children are competent learners and effective communicators.
What is free kinder funding?
Free Kinder aims for all Victorian children to access two years of a high-quality kinder program before they start school. Enrolling your child in a kinder program for two years supports their learning and development so they do well in life and school.
Free Kinder is for everyone!
Our long-day kindergarten program provides the flexibility for working and studying parents to drop off children early and pick up children later at a flexible time. We welcome parents to choose our long-day care integrated kindergarten program. Children can attend our long day care kindergarten program up-to 5 days per week.
Each child can only enrol in one funded kindergarten program at any one time in Victoria.
Therefore, parents will be required to sign a Declaration Form to declare that you only enrol your child in one funded kindergarten program to receive one free kinder funding at any one time in Victoria at the beginning of the program. If your family needs to move to a new kindergarten, then our service would cease your child’s enrolment. Then you would receive free kinder funding from the new service.
Normal childcare fees apply to 3 and 4 old year kinder children in our long day childcare service with free kinder funding offset, and parents will receive the statement which proves the full funding of $2,101 passed onto families at the end of the year.
